Separately, since the end of 2024, a toll on the A24 (Blankenburgverbinding) near Rotterdam applies to all vehicles, including motorhomes, with payment required within 72 hours.

In most Dutch municipalities, caravans, campers, and trailers cannot be left on public roads for more than three consecutive days. Violators face a fine of 129 euros, and repeat offenses may result in the vehicle being towed at the owner's expense.

New motorhome sales are expected to grow by 2.8% in 2026 despite an increase in road tax. Five used models on Marktplaats priced up to €25,000 offer savings of €75,000–85,000 compared to new vehicles.
