On June 19, 2026, Düren police held a free weighing campaign for motorhomes, caravans and motorhome trains. Due to high demand, the event started 15 minutes earlier than planned. A total of 64 vehicles were weighed. Drivers also received advice on loading and permissible mass.
Euskirchen: upcoming event
On July 8, 2026, the Euskirchen district police (Germany) will organize a free weighing campaign for motorhomes, caravans, trailers, and according to some sources, SUVs, vans and passenger cars with trailers. The event will take place at the Technical Relief Agency (THW) site from 2 to 5 pm. The aim is to inform drivers about the risks of overloading and safe cargo transport. Any violations found, including overloading, will not be fined.
