Chris Coghill, who plays Kev Barton in Emmerdale, has bought a caravan to reduce his commute to the show's studios. The actor lives in Hertfordshire, about a three-hour drive from the set in the Yorkshire Dales. The caravan is kept in Leeds and will serve as accommodation while filming. Coghill's current role is a permanent, full-time cast member, prompting the move to cut travel time.
