Residents of San Sebastián are complaining about new forms of camping, including roof tents mounted on cars parked in unauthorized areas. The municipal ordinance allows sleeping inside a vehicle but prohibits setting up tents, deploying awnings, or placing furniture on public streets. The city currently has 89 designated motorhome parking spots, with a third campsite in Oriamendi set to open next year.
