A ranking of the most popular campsites on the North Sea and Baltic Sea coasts has been published. The list of ten leaders is based on CARAVANING data and reviews from Camping.info, Eurocampings.eu, Google, Pincamp.de, and Zoover.com. The top spot is held by Rosenfelder Strand Ostsee Camping, which offers 350 tourist pitches and high-standard sanitary facilities.

Nearly 100,000 campers voted in the Eurocamping survey to determine Europe's best campsites for 2026. Two Bavarian sites won ACSI Awards 2026: Campingplatz Arterhof in Bad Birnbach was named best in Germany, and the small lakeside site at Marktler Badesee in Altöttingen (only 30 pitches) won the 'Small & Fine' category. A total of 36 campsites across Europe, including Sweden, Spain, and Norway, received awards in the two main categories.
