German tuning studio Dietrich has unveiled the Living Driver Single Cab project based on the DAF XG+ truck. The passenger seat was removed to make room for a sofa, a kitchen unit with a microwave and coffee machine, and a pull-out sink with a hidden toilet. Since May 29, 2026, the fourth Wildwood Camping site has been operating in Lychen, Uckermark. Motorhome and camper manufacturer LMC (Lord Münsterland Caravan) is negotiating the reduction of 160 jobs at its Sassenberg plant in North Rhine-Westphalia. The move reflects a post-pandemic demand slump: German registrations fell over 15% year-on-year in 2025–2026. The company, part of Erwin Hymer Group (Thor Industries), is adjusting capacity to market conditions. No final agreement has been reached yet.
