In the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy, a growing number of tourists are using micro-trailers towed by bicycles, often e-bikes. These lightweight trailers, some inflatable, weigh around 30 kg and cost up to 3,000 euros. Production is mostly from Northern Europe, including Denmark and Austria. Models include the B Turtle inflatable trailer and the Alpencamper Eco Slide Out, a two-person mini-caravan weighing 52 kg from Switzerland.
