Croatia becomes the most expensive country for camping in Europe

Eurocamp has announced the opening of Hu Eraclea Mare, a new resort on Italy's Adriatic coast, scheduled for May 2027. The 100-hectare park near Venice will feature a nine-hectare water park with six pools, 30 food and beverage outlets, and a 1,500-seat outdoor theatre. Accommodation starts from £319 for a lodge sleeping 4–6 people.

According to data from the European camping organization ACSI, Croatia has become the most expensive camping destination in Europe. The average cost per night for a family of four with a caravan reached €78. Since 2020, average camping fees have increased by nearly 25%. The top five most expensive countries also include Switzerland (€61), Slovenia (€60), Italy (€59), and Denmark (€54). The most affordable destination remains Turkey (€14 per night).

Volkswagen has unveiled updated Multivan and California models.
