According to an ADAC analysis, camping prices in North Rhine-Westphalia rose by 18% last year, the highest increase among German states, compared to a national average of 7%. A family of three pays about 40 euros per night on average, but in the Weserbergland region prices reach 50 euros (+32%), while in the Ruhr area and Münsterland they are 35-37 euros. Off-season stays are 9% cheaper.
