Germany's weather service (DWD) has warned of temperatures up to 40°C in Bavaria this weekend, coinciding with the start of summer holidays. Tropical nights and thunderstorms are expected. Campers are advised to avoid midday sun, drink at least three liters of water daily, use tarps and fans, and not leave people or animals in closed vehicles.
