Bird Bell campsite in Sano, Tochigi Prefecture, marked its second anniversary on September 15 and began its third year during Silver Week. Poor weather and an approaching typhoon led to numerous cancellations, but conditions improved in the latter half of the holiday, bringing new bookings, including last-minute ones. Visitors included repeat guests, first-timers, and a camper who returned to show the site to his wife. Despite continuous rain, the campsite drains relatively quickly.
