From mid-June 2025, owners of motorhomes and caravans with gas installations must have proof of the G607 inspection. The check is required upon first commissioning, then every two years, and after any repair or technical modification.
Without a valid sticker, fines range from 15 to 80 euros. Additionally, the risk of gas leaks and fires increases. The procedure takes 20–45 minutes and costs between 40 and 80 euros. Inspections are carried out by TÜV, Dekra, and other organizations.
Additional requirements
- Every 10 years, gas regulators and hoses must be replaced.
- Gas cylinders must undergo technical inspection.
