Safety inspection at Danghangpo auto camping site
On May 12, the administration of South Gyeongsang Province (also referred to as Gyeongnam-do or Gyeongsangnam-do) jointly with Goseong County officials and private experts conducted a safety inspection of the auto camping site at Danghangpo Tourist Zone. Specialists in construction, fire safety, electricity, and gas participated.
The inspection covered electrical and gas equipment, fire safety, structural integrity of facilities, and sanitary conditions. The measure aims to address safety gaps amid rising camping demand and ahead of the peak season. The acting governor urged the operator to conduct regular self-checks. Authorities pledged to strengthen oversight and promptly rectify violations.
