The municipality of Puerto Madryn has begun reorganizing the coastal area at Kaiser and Paraná beaches. The work includes relocating trailers and motorhomes, cleaning the area, and creating new public access zones. The operation will last until September 1.
From September 1, existing vehicle access points to Kaiser beach will be closed, leaving only one entrance for emergency services. Special zones will be designated for motorhomes and trailers, with parking and overnight stays allowed from November 15 to March 15. Owners have been notified to move their vehicles to a site about 20 meters from the current location.
Authorities plan to introduce restrictions on year-round placement of trailers and motorhomes and install bollards in hazardous areas. The measures are based on recommendations from a CENPAT specialist and aim to expand coastal access for residents and tourists while protecting the environment. The ban on driving over dunes and cliffs remains in force. At Paraná beach, relocation of trailers and motorhomes is also planned to expand space for visitors.
