Spain approves new traffic regulations with changes for motorhomes

Showers and public toilets will also be closed from 9 p.m. to 8 a.m. due to misuse (washing dishes, bathing dogs), with wastewater contaminating the stream that flows into the sea. Additionally, the beach bar is closed after three companies declined its concession.

The law assesses not the type of structure but its use: if the caravan is used as a home (continuous living, connection to utilities), it is considered a violation. Offenders face fines up to €30,000 and forced removal. Registering the caravan as a residence does not legalize the situation.
