From October 2024, owners of caravan and park home sites in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole (BCP) will face higher licence fees. BCP Council revised tariffs for 21 residential caravan parks in the area, which vary from 2 to 90 pitches. For the smallest sites (up to 10 homes), the annual fee will rise from £192 to £200, and for the largest (up to 142 homes) from £383 to £398. Fees for obtaining a licence, transferring it, and assessing operator compliance will also increase. The council says the changes are intended to better reflect the costs of regulation, including enforcement and administration. The changes take effect from 1 October.
