Karen and Myles Davies from the UK set off on a one-year motorhome trip in early 2016 but never returned to their previous life. Over ten years they have driven more than 170,000 kilometres and visited around thirty countries, including Norway, Morocco, Portugal and Estonia. Their 7.5-metre motorhome, named Scoobie, is their only home. The couple spend between €1,700 and €2,300 per month, while renting their home before departure cost about €1,560 monthly. Since Brexit they can stay in the Schengen area for no more than 90 days in any 180-day period, which has affected their routes.
