The Tourism Committee of the Tucumán Legislature approved a bill establishing a new regulatory framework for the provision, marketing and oversight of tourist accommodations. The bill repeals Provincial Law No. 5204 of 1983 and adds categories such as glamping, community rural tourism, motorhomes and temporary tourist accommodations. It requires registration in the provincial registry, civil liability insurance and visible display of the registration number on digital platforms. Existing registered establishments keep their permits upon confirming an electronic address, while unregistered operators will have 180 days to comply after the law is enacted.
