The Greek police have issued a clarifying ordinance, overturning controversial parking restrictions for motorhomes that had been in place since 2025. The new rules, effective February 15, 2026, state that motorhomes are subject to the same parking regulations as other vehicles. Within localities, motorhomes up to 7.5 meters in length can park without time limits, while longer ones are limited to 24 hours. Outside localities, there is no time limit, although wild camping remains prohibited.
