The Provincial Directorate of Sanitary Works and Services (DPOSS) in Ushuaia, Argentina, has waived the fee for using the authorized wastewater dumping station for motorhomes and caravans. The measure took effect in January 2026.
The free service is available at the special platform of the "Bahía Golondrina" pre-treatment plant in Ushuaia. In addition to wastewater dumping, the station also provides free drinking water for these vehicles.
The decision is part of a campaign to promote responsible use of infrastructure and aims to encourage legal waste disposal, preventing unauthorized dumping into storm drains or city streets.
