The Government of Cantabria has approved a new decree regulating motorhome service areas and campsites. The regulation removes the maximum capacity limit for service areas, simplifies technical requirements (reduced minimum road widths, elimination of obsolete obligations), and clarifies when a motorhome is considered to be camping. The aim is to manage growing tourism demand and reduce unauthorized parking.
