New regulations affecting motorhome and caravan owners come into force in 2026. Key changes include the introduction of the Euro-7 emissions standard from November, the mandatory exchange of driving licenses issued between 1999 and 2001 by January 19th, and increased operating costs due to CO₂ pricing. Additionally, from July, new vehicles must be equipped with extended driver assistance systems, and new rules for city access and emergency signaling are introduced in Austria and Spain.
