Motorhome manufacturer LMC lays off over 100 employees

Organizers of the Bulli-Festival on the island of Fehmann have decided to relocate the event from the south beach to a field in the northern part of the island. Many participants stated they would not attend the new location due to the lack of beach access.

German motorhome and caravan manufacturer LMC Caravan from Sassenberg has announced the reduction of 106 jobs. Layoffs will occur in two waves: 88 employees will leave at the end of July, and another 18 at the end of January. The reason is a decline in orders and a crisis in the caravan industry. The company plans to cut costs, digitize processes, and spin off its spare parts warehouse and warranty department.

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles introduced a Night Package for the ID. Buzz electric van, converting it into a camper for short trips. The package includes a bed, air conditioning, and a Vehicle-to-Load function providing up to 2000 watts for external devices, including e-bike charging.
