Winnebagoⓘ has announced the Arka, built on a Ram 5500 chassis with a Cummins diesel engine producing 360 hp and 1,085 Nm of torque (according to one source) or 800 lb-ft (according to another). The camper is designed for extended off-grid stays: up to 14 days without hookups, a 16.8 kWh electrical system with 800 W of solar panels, and water tanks totaling 227 liters (per one source) or 60 gallons fresh and 40 gallons gray water (per another).
The manufacturer claims operation in temperatures from -10 to 120 °F and towing capacity up to 15,000 pounds. The starting price is $331,901.
