British company Wellhouse Leisure has released its first camper conversion based on the Daihatsu Wake minivan. The 2015 vehicle with 67,000 miles is offered at £17,995. One layout is currently available, intended mainly for a single traveller: the sleeping area is formed by transforming the front and rear seats, and a mini-kitchen with a stove and sink sits behind the driver's seat, with water supplied by a manual pump. The pop-up roof increases interior height rather than providing a second full sleeping space; a battery, solar panel and relay for charging from the vehicle's alternator are optional. The model has a 660cc engine producing 63 hp and an automatic gearbox, and meets ULEZ low-emission zone requirements.
