The LTx model on a Ford F-550 chassis starts at $798,000, while the SX on a Chevrolet Silverado 6500HD starts at $1.1 million. Demand has risen after the pandemic boom, with a lead time of about 16 months. Out of 450 vehicles produced over 27 years, only four have been retired, all due to crashes.
