Ashfield Caravan Park in Dalton Piercy near Hartlepool has been sold to developer Alex Stephenson Jnr following a marketing campaign led by GSC Grays’ Rural Business and Leisure department. The park was listed for sale at a guide price of £2 million earlier this year, with the site covering approximately 11 acres. It currently holds planning permission for 105 touring caravan and motorhome pitches, 37 static holiday caravans, and storage for up to 143 touring caravans, with potential to expand to 47 static units subject to planning approval. The new owner plans to progress the static holiday caravan element and invest in improvements to the existing touring site.
