A camper van caught fire in the Tesco car park in Haverhill shortly before midnight. Fire crews from Haverhill and Clare responded at 11:38pm. The fire spread to two cars and a fence. Due to concerns about a gas cylinder in the camper van, nearby homes and flats on Station Road were evacuated. One person was treated for smoke inhalation at the scene. The fire was extinguished at 12:56am.
