Volkswagen has updated the Multivan and California with a series of targeted improvements rather than a full redesign.
Exterior changes
- Redesigned front with larger LED headlights, daytime running lights, and a light bar.
- New body colors and a matte paint finish.
Interior and technology
- A 12.9-inch infotainment display and a fully redesigned digital instrument cluster.
- The DSG gearbox is now controlled by a stalk on the steering column; climate and audio via illuminated touch sliders.
- Wireless charging up to 25 W, USB-C up to 60 W.
- Travel Assist now recognizes traffic lights and supports assisted lane changes on highways.
Powertrains (unchanged)
- 2.0 TDI diesel (150 hp), 2.0 TSI petrol (204 hp), and eHybrid 4Motion plug-in hybrid (245 hp).
Prices (Germany)
- Multivan Trend: from €57,465.
- California Beach: from €66,087. The eHybrid 4Motion version offers electric climate control for up to 8 hours without the engine running.
