Volkswagen has launched the new Caravelle people carrier and California camper van in the UK. The Caravelle starts at £53,703 in Life trim, £59,703 for Style and £63,303 for Edition. It replaces the Multivan name and is joined by the California, priced from £66,334. Both models feature larger LED headlights, a 12.9-inch infotainment screen and a 25-watt wireless charging pad. The Caravelle comes with a 148bhp diesel or a 242bhp plug-in hybrid with up to 55 miles of electric range.
