Nissan has unveiled an updated version of the Clipper kei van with the Multi-Rack option, turning the van into a compact camper. The system includes a steel frame, perforated panels for gear attachment, and a foldable bed at four height levels. An optional Cordura sleeping mat (46×70 inches, for one or two people) is also available.
The base price in Japan starts at about $14,000, while the top GX Turbo with 4WD is $16,500. Despite its low-power engine (63 hp), the model could appeal in the US for city trips and nature outings due to its low price and fuel efficiency.
