Dutch camper manufacturer VAN-Jorn, the largest producer of camper vans in the Netherlands, has opened a new factory of 3,000 sq m and a 250 sq m showroom in Groningen. Thanks to the expansion, the company plans to triple production in the coming years: around 140 campers are expected in 2025, rising to 300 unique vehicles per year by 2028.
The new factory features a modular rail system that allows customers to customise the layout and equipment themselves. More than 30% of production consists of fully electric models based on the Peugeot e-Boxer. The expansion is driven by growing demand in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, and possibly Scandinavia.
