New Gonow RV shares surge 34% in a day

Shares of New Gonow RV (00805.HK), China's first publicly traded RV manufacturer, surged 34% on May 6, hitting an all-time high of 2 HKD. The rally followed the release of its 2025 annual report, which showed revenue up 0.8% to 871 million yuan but net profit down 28.87% to 30.82 million yuan. The company attributed the decline to a market downturn in Australia and New Zealand, the launch of hybrid models, and increased marketing expenses. Its order backlog stands at 1,751 units worth 483 million yuan, over half of annual revenue.
