China's State Council, through ten government bodies, issued its first systemic measures to develop the motorhome and caravan market. In 2025, sales of motorised motorhomes exceeded 20,000 units for the first time, with camper van sales up 85.61% and new-energy motorhome sales up 229%. Mandatory scrappage is removed for light non-commercial motorhomes, while the service life for rental motorhomes is extended from 15 to 25 years and for caravans from 15 to 20 years.
