Japanese Toyota Camroad motorhome packs five beds in 4.9 meters

Suzuki has announced its participation in the Tokyo Outdoor Show 2026, held from June 26 to 28 at Makuhari Messe, Chiba. The booth will feature the updated Hustler Tough Wild (released May 27) and Every J Limited (released May 8), both tailored for outdoor activities and car camping. Branded Suzuki merchandise will also be on sale.

From July 3 to August 30, 2026, on selected dates, the Ibukiyama Driveway in Gifu Prefecture will operate night hours. Temperatures at the summit can be 10°C lower than at the base. Overnight stays in motorhomes (車中泊) are permitted.

The Suzuka Kenko no Mori RV Resort in Suzuka, Nagano Prefecture, has reopened with 25 travel trailers. Each 37 sq m unit includes an induction stove, bathroom, and toilet. The site features a 12,000-liter water tank and portable batteries, enabling 10 households to live normally for a week during water or power outages. Operator Cumberland Japan aims to deploy the trailers as emergency housing after earthquakes and floods, and has been selected for a Ukraine reconstruction project to send trailers there by February 2027.

Isuzu will present four vehicles at the Tokyo Outdoor Show 2026: two campers on Travio and Be-cam chassis, and two custom versions of the Elf Mio light truck. The exhibition runs from June 26 to 28 at Makuhari Messe.

Toi Factory from Kani City donated five portable 'Kresana' toilets to Gifu Prefecture for disaster use. Governor Yoshihisa Esaki presented a letter of appreciation.

Sega released a 'Before You Buy' trailer for Outbound on June 18, featuring developer commentary on gameplay mechanics. The boxed version launches June 25, 2026 on PS5, Nintendo Switch 2, and Nintendo Switch for ¥4,980. The game is a cozy survival simulator with no enemies, where players manage an electric motorhome powered by renewable energy.
