Midwest Patriot MD3 2027: new-generation camper with luxury and autonomy

Pinto Lake City Park, a 78-acre park in Santa Cruz County, California, provides 28 RV sites with water, sewer, and electric hookups at around $50 per night. The park is about an hour's drive south of San Jose and 40 minutes north of Monterey. Fishing is available from two earthen piers, and rowboats and paddleboats can be rented. Bringing personal boats requires an inspection for zebra and quagga mussels, available only on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Forest River has unveiled the updated Vibe 3400BH travel trailer for 2026. The 12-metre model sleeps up to 11 people and features three air conditioners, an island kitchen and three slide-outs. The recommended price is $72,100, with dealer options available below $50,000.

Field Van has introduced a camper based on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500XD with a 4320 mm wheelbase. The Summit S3 layout includes a kitchen, shower, Porta Potti 365 toilet and sleeping space for five. Autonomy is provided by a 900 Ah battery, 180 W solar panel and Xantrex 3000 W inverter. The show car is listed for sale at $238,881.

THOR Industries announced additional leadership changes as part of the evolution of its North American RV operating model. Ken Walters is appointed President of the North American RV division.

RV Overnights, a founder-owned membership platform connecting RVers with small-business hosts for overnight stays, announced a partnership with Campers Inn RV, the largest family-operated RV dealership group in the U.S. Every customer who buys a new or used RV from Campers Inn RV will receive a complimentary one-year RV Overnights membership, and customers who spend more than $2,000 on service also receive a complimentary one-year membership. The partnership will be celebrated at the Hershey RV Show, Sept. 16–20. The agreement gives RV buyers access to more than 1,600 host locations through over 50 Campers Inn RV locations nationwide.

Las Vegas-based manufacturer Noovo unveiled its complete 2027 camper van lineup during Evolution Day, a video presentation premiering Sept. 10 at 10 a.m. PT. The Noovo Lite and Noovo Plus share upgrades including fully ducted air conditioning, a hidden two-burner induction cooktop beneath a porcelain countertop, and a three-in-one microwave, convection oven and air fryer. The Noovo Lite adds integrated storage, while the Noovo Plus gets a larger, slimmer refrigerator, redesigned workspace and a bed that lowers further. The all-wheel-drive Noovo Next completes the lineup. Noovo also introduced Atlas, a digital platform for prospective and current owners, and detailed an after-sales network of more than 2,500 mobile service providers. Production has grown from 30 vans in 2021 to 300 in 2026, with nearly 150 employees and over 600 owners. The lineup will make its public debut at Adventure Van Expo in Lake Tahoe on Sept. 12–13.
