Alliance RV, parent company of Midwest Automotive Designs, announced that its 2026 Open House will be open to the public for the first time. The event will take place from September 30 to October 2 at the Alliance Campus in Elkhart, Indiana. Visitors can see more than 40 floorplans, including over 10 new ones and two new product lines, as well as Midwest Automotive Designs' Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and Ford Transit conversions. Admission is free and no registration is required.

Midwest Automotive Designs unveiled the Patriot MD3 2027 camper van based on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 170EXT. It features a 2.0-liter diesel engine (208 hp), 9-speed automatic transmission, and a Freedom 1080 hybrid power system with up to 1080 Ah batteries and 320 W solar panels, enabling air conditioning operation for up to 60 hours. The interior includes three captain's chairs, a convertible sofa, a kitchen with refrigerator and freezer, and a bathroom with shower. Prices start at $260,000.
Towable RV manufacturer Alliance RV has acquired premium van upfitter Midwest Automotive Designs. The acquisition marks Alliance RV's strategic entry into the motorized segment with Midwest's Class B motorhomes and luxury transportation vehicles. Midwest will operate as a separate business unit, retaining its manufacturing facilities in Elkhart, Indiana.
