According to Aseicar, 4,429 new motorhomes, caravans and campers were registered in Spain in the first half of 2026, up 29.6% year-on-year. Full-year sales are forecast to rise 15–20% to 7,280 units, still below the pre-pandemic 2019 figure of 7,534. The national fleet reached 372,500 vehicles, but infrastructure lags: only 1,750 motorhome service areas exist — 2–4 times fewer than in Italy, Germany or France. The association says 2,000 additional areas are needed.
