At the autumn auction of Deutsche Grundstücksauktionen AG on 24 September in Berlin, the Neue Scheune campsite at Schwielowsee failed to find a buyer at the starting price of 395,000 euros. The property has entered a two-month post-sale period. The 41,850 sq m site includes 86 permanent and 25 short-stay pitches, six mobile homes, and generates annual income of around 200,000 euros. A portion of the land (24,383 sq m) is leasehold for 66 years with a 20-year extension option, which the auction house said may have deterred buyers.
