Sweden recorded a sharp increase in new motorhome registrations. In May 2026, 794 motorhomes were registered, up 47% from 540 in May 2025. Over the first five months of the year, registrations rose 57% year-on-year to 2,681 units. Part of the growth is attributed to early registrations to meet new Euro 6 emission rules, meaning actual market demand is slightly lower. In contrast, the caravan market declined by 17.5% as buyers shifted to the used market.
