The compact FRITZ!Box 6825 4G router is presented as a solution for stable internet in caravans and backup connectivity for smart homes. German company SOD has introduced a motorhome based on the Mercedes-Benz Arocs truck. The custom-built unit is estimated to cost 2–3 million euros.

A collision between a motorhome and a truck resulted in the complete closure of the B 31 federal highway near Falkensteig. The accident occurred on April 9 when a 71-year-old motorhome driver crossed into oncoming traffic and collided with a truck. Both drivers and a female passenger in the motorhome were uninjured, but the damage is estimated at over €15,000. Traffic was halted for accident investigation and vehicle recovery.
