Motsmann Engineering of Oregon has introduced the Outranger camper trailer, blending teardrop and molded egg-shaped camper traits. Its six-panel composite body, free of wood, sits on a galvanized steel frame with independent Timbren suspension, electric brakes, and 30-inch Falken Wildpeak tires. The frame is bolted, made of 3-mm steel, which simplifies repairs and replacement of individual parts.
Inside, there's a sleeping area with an 82-inch mattress, plus a galley with optional Dometicⓘ stove, fridge, and sink. The 12V electrical system includes a 200 Ah lithium battery (upgradeable to 600 Ah) and optional solar charging. A fan is standard; solar panels, heating, and air conditioning are optional. Dry weight is 1,450 lb (658 kg), length 13.5 ft (4.1 m).
