Hyundai Staria Camper Concept
Hyundai presented the Staria electric camper concept at the CMT show in Stuttgart. The model is based on the Staria electric vehicle and features a pop-up roof with a 520 W solar panel that can generate up to 2.6 kWh per day. The range is about 400 km thanks to an 800-volt architecture and an 84 kWh battery. Fast charging from 10 to 80% takes 20 minutes.
The interior is designed for two people and includes a kitchen, refrigerator, folding seats and a sleeping area. The seats transform into a double bed. The company is exploring the use of smart glass with electronic dimming. The length of the camper is 5.26 meters.
Hyundai is studying market demand for a possible production version. According to some sources, series production is possible but not confirmed; others state that the production version should appear soon. The concept demonstrates an approach to creating a camper as an electric vehicle from the start, rather than a converted van.
