Out of over 300 caravan models for the 2026 model year, only five simultaneously offer a ceiling height and bed length of at least 200 cm. Beds of this length are common, but a ceiling height of two meters or more is typically lacking.

Motorhome as mobile meeting and support space

In Switzerland, the 'Rencar' project has been launched — a motorhome converted into a mobile meeting and counseling point for marginalized groups. The initiative started on March 1, 2012, in the cantons of Jura and Bernese Jura. The motorhome will operate six days a week, parking at hospitals, prisons, and public spaces. The project is funded by the church community but does not involve religious proselytism.
