ARI Motors ARI 458 Pro: Mini Electric Motorhome for Self-Conversion

Since June 2025, mandatory gas equipment inspection for motorhomes and caravans has been reinstated in Germany. The inspection must be conducted every two years, costs 40-80 euros, and delays can result in fines up to 60 euros.

German company ARI Motors has introduced the fully electric ARI 458 Pro Campingmobil motorhome. It measures 3.82 meters in length and 1.49 meters in width. The model is delivered without interior fittings for self-conversion, features a 15 kW electric motor, and is offered with two battery options providing a range of 120 to 230 km. Sales will start in May 2026, with a base price of 25,530 euros excluding VAT.

Police in Wesel are investigating a caravan fire that occurred on March 30. The caravan, parked in the backyard of an apartment building on Jahnstraße, burned out completely, but firefighters prevented the flames from spreading. There were no injuries, and the cause of the fire remains unknown.

Auto Zeitung magazine presented a ranking of eight all-wheel drive campervans based on van chassis. Experts from Automobile Reetz in Emmerich warn of common mistakes when preparing a motorhome for the season. Prolonged use of the handbrake during winter can cause it to seize, creating a safety risk.
