Dutch company Campanero has announced a modular tent trailer system that allows expanding living space without replacing the base trailer. The base Pah-Pah model sleeps one to two people, weighs 705 lbs (320 kg) and starts at €13,950.
Configurations
- Pah-Pah — 1–2 people, 705 lbs (320 kg), from €13,950
- Eck-Oh — up to 4 people, 91.5 sq ft, from €16,950
- Char-Lee — up to 6 people, 99 sq ft, from €18,950
All three models use one platform, and the tent can be swapped via zipper. Prices are without an additional sleeping tent.
Technical details
The trailer weighs from 320 kg and has a permitted speed of up to 100 km/h. It stays below the 750 kg mark, so no special licence is required, and it can be towed even by small cars and EVs with a small battery. The tent sits on a weatherproof transport box, has a steel frame and a breathable water-resistant cotton blend. The base version offers about 3.7 sq m, the Eck-Oh version 8.5 sq m, plus additional awnings. The top Char-Lee is due to reach the market within a year.
