A fire broke out in the repair area of a motorhome dealership in Taichung on the evening of May 8. Employees managed to drive out several motorhomes worth millions of Taiwan dollars to prevent major losses. It took firefighters about an hour and a half to bring the blaze under control, with no casualties reported.
