Local police in Castelló have removed dozens of caravans from the Goliat, Salera and Lledó basilica rear lots, which are not equipped for such vehicles. Offenders face fines of 80 euros (40 euros if paid promptly). The legal lot near the Planetarium, with 55 spaces, is fully occupied, while the Ferrandis Salvador avenue lot is temporarily reserved for cars of beachgoers. The municipality has intensified checks since the weekend.
