Four tourists became stranded in a motorhome towing a trailer in a muddy lowland about 15 km from Puerto Deseado, Argentina, at around 19:55 on Sunday. Fire crews from stations 22 and 4 called in a rescue vehicle and used heavy-duty straps to extract the motorhome, which could not move under its own power. The provincial roads service supplied a grader to remove the top layer of mud and firm up the track. By 21:20 the motorhome was on solid ground and the uninjured tourists were escorted to Provincial Route 281.
