On Monday morning in Kutenholz-Essel (Stade district, Lower Saxony), an unusual traffic incident occurred. A 70-year-old motorhome driver lost control on Dorfstrasse. The vehicle crossed into oncoming traffic, knocked down several meters of a wooden fence, ran over a tree, and came to a stop in bushes on private property.
The driver was unhurt. The motorhome was declared inoperable and towed away. Police suspect the cause may have been health problems and have forwarded the report to the relevant driver's license authority for a fitness-to-drive review.
